BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball team released its 2022 schedule with a number of September neutral games, finishing with the tough Ohio Athletic Conference schedule.
BW will open its 2022 campaign with a four-game series at the Cedar Point Sports Center on September 2 and 3 against non-conference opponents Smith (Mass.) University, Hope (Mich.) College, Grove City (Pa.) College, and Hanover (Ind.) College. The Yellow Jackets will then have their 2022 home opener on that following Wednesday, September 7 when the team hosts the Hiram College Terriers.
The Yellow Jackets also travel to Bluffton University for a three-game weekend series on September 9 and 10 against Bethany (W.Va.) College, Bluffton, and University of Pittsburgh at Bradford (Pa.). BW will travel crosstown to Case Western Reserve University for a matchup against the Spartans on September 14. The following weekend on September 16 and 17, BW travels to Olivet (Mich.) College to face Olivet, Kalamazoo (Mich.) College, and Albion (Mich.) College.
BW will close its non-conference play with a three-game weekend series at North Park (Ill.) University on September 23 and 24 with matches against University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, North Park, and Kean (N.J.) University.
The Yellow Jackets will host their 2022 OAC opener on Saturday, October 1 against Marietta College. BW will then travel to University of Mount Union on October 5 before returning to the Lou Higgins Center to host Wilmington College on Saturday, October 8. BW goes on the road to face crosstown rival John Carroll University on October 12 and Muskingum University on October 15.
The team will host Heidelberg University on October 19 before going back on the road to face Otterbein University on October 22. BW will close the 2022 season with back-to-back home contest against Ohio Northern University on Wednesday, October 26 and Capital University on Saturday, October 29.
BW finished the 2021 fall season with an overall record of 19-10 and a 4-5 mark in the OAC.
