Women's Soccer Honors Six Senior Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio –  The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and women's soccer program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes Cydney Granneman, Morgan Gray, Alex Guido, Kortney Marzenski, Kaitlin McGuire and Kenna Stones on completing their outstanding athletic careers at the University.

While the NCAA has extended another year of eligibility, it is uncertain if each of these student-athlete will come back for another season or continue down their career path.  So, the University administration, faculty and staff congratulates these six young women on their outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as their leadership to the women's soccer program. The University would like to wish each of them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that they come back and visit us often. They will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

Granneman is a biology major from Avon, Indiana and a graduate of Avon High School. She is a midfielder that will earn her fourth varsity letter this spring.  In her career, Granneman has appeared in 58 career games with 31 starts and has scored one goal and added one assist for three points.  She is the daughter of Corey and Carol Granneman of Avon.

 

 

 

 

 

Gray is criminal justice major from Dublin, Ohio and a graduate of Scioto High School. She is an All-Ohio Athletic Conference defender that will earn her fourth varsity letter this spring.  For her career, Gray has appeared in 59 career games with 46 starts and has scored six goals for 12 points.  She is a two-time BW Defender of the Year Award recipient.  Gray is the daughter of Robert and Angela Gray of Dublin.

 

 

 

 

 

Guido is an exercise science major from Macomb, Michigan and a graduate of Eisenhower High School.  She is a forward that will earn her fourth varsity letter this spring.  In her career, Guido has appeared in 52 career games with 37 starts and has notched five goals and added six assists for 16 points.  She was named the BW Offensive Player of the Year Award recipient as a sophomore. Guido is the daughter of Dino and Andrea Guido of Macomb.

 

 

 

 

  

Marzenski is an early childhood education major from Parma, Ohio and a graduate of Valley Forge High School.  She is a forward that will earn her third varsity letter this spring.  For her career, Marzenski has appeared in 51 games with 16 starts and has netted three goals and added one assist for seven points.  Off the field, she is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. Marzenski is the daughter of Matt and Michele Marzenski of Parma.

 

 

 

 

  

McGuire is a communication sciences and disorders major from Gibsonia, Pennsylvania and a graduate of Pine-Richland High School.  She is a forward that will earn her fourth varsity letter this spring.  In her career, McGuire has appeared in 58 games with 26 starts and has tallied five goals and added two assists for 12 points.  Off the field, she is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, a Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta and Chi Alpha Sigma honoraries. McGuire is the daughter of Michael and Kimberly McGuire of Gibsonia.

 

 

  

 

Stones is a business administration major from Dresden, Ohio and a graduate of Tri-Valley High School.  She is a midfielder that will earn her fourth varsity letter this spring.  For her career, Stones has appeared in 62 games with 31 starts and has recorded six goals and added five assists for 17 points.  She was named the BW Newcomer of the Year Award recipient in 2017. Stones is the daughter of Todd and Jody Stones of Dresden.
