Women's Soccer Comes Up Short in Rescheduled OAC Game with Crosstown Rival John Carroll

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio— The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to crosstown rival John Carroll University in a rescheduled Ohio Athletic Conference game by a final score of 1-0 on Wasmer Field inside the Don Shula Stadium.

John Carroll (3-3,3-3 OAC) scored the game's lone goal when junior forward Brittany Dufalla found the back of the net off the assist from senior forward Sydney Scello in thr 17th minute.

BW (2-3, 2-3 OAC) outshot the Blue Streaks by a 8-6 margin and won the corner kick battle by a 3-2 advantage.

In the goal for the Yellow Jackets, sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Hofmann (Olmsted Township/Olmsted Falls) allowed one goals on six shots and made three saves.

BW is back in action on Monday, April 5 for an OAC game against Wilmington College on there Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium at 7 p.m.
