BEREA, Ohio –  Three Baldwin Wallace University wrestlers, junior 174-pounder Garrett Chase (Erie Pa./Cathedral Prep), freshman 197-pounder Tyler Maclellan (Medina/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) and junior 125-pound Division III All-American Jesse Gunter (Akron/ Coventry) have been named to the 2015 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Chase and Maclellan are first-team selections and Gunter is a second-team choice.  This is the third straight season that Gunter has earned All-OAC honors and after being a first-team choice in both 2013 and 2014.

In addition, Chase and Gunter are two of three Yellow Jackets who have qualified for the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament on March 13-14 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Chase had his finest season as a collegian and led BW with 37 victories and a 37-6 overall record with six pins and two technical falls. He won two individual  invitational titles, was ranked 10th in Division III at 174 pounds and placed second at last weekend's NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Tournament in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Chase will enter the NCAA Division III national tournament with 96 career wins and a 96-29 record.

Maclellan had a strong first season of competition and compiled a 19-8 record with six pins and one fall. He won an individual invitational title at the Brockport (N.Y.) University Tournament and had a key pin in BW's season-ending dual match versus Heidelberg University that gave the Yellow Jackets a three-point lead and led to a win by criteria.

Gunter, who won an individual title at this year's 29th Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament, was ranked as high as third in Division III this season. He compiled a 25-3 record despite missing four weeks of competition due to an illness. Gunter placed second at the NCAA Regional for the second straight season and was third at 125 pounds at last year's NCAA Division III National Tournament. He has two pins and two falls. Gunter has a 91-10 career mark.

BW ended its regular season with a school-record 17 victories and finished 17-6 overall mark and second during the Ohio Athletic Conference dual match schedule with a 4-1 mark.
