Women’s Golf Finishes Second at Mount Union Spring Invitational

ALLIANCE, Ohio –  The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished in second place at the University of Mount Union Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.

BW finished second out of three teams with a total of 392 strokes on the 6,008-yard Tannenhauf layout.  Mount Union was the team winner with 348 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets were led by senior Academic All-OAC golfer Rachael Sladky (North Olmsted), who was the co-medalist a day earlier, finished in third place with a round of 87. Senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC performer Anna Schatschneider (Avon) fired a round of 91. Junior Kelly Linnabary (Westerville/Central) carded a round of 105.  Senior Academic All-OAC performer Aubrey Baumler (Huron) shot a round of 109.  Rounding out the top five was sophomore Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk/St. Paul) with a round of 120.

Playing as an individual was freshman Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) as she shot a round of 122.

BW is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, April 10 and 11 when it travels to Tiffin to compete in the Heidelberg Spring Invitational at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club.
