Women’s Golf Competes at 27-hole Heidelberg Spring Invitational

TIFFIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team competed at the 27-hole Heidelberg University Spring Invitational at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club

The two-day event feature BW, Heidelberg and Ohio Northern and did not have a team scores as only the Yellow Jackets played both days and Heidelberg did not have enough golfers for a team score.

BW was led by senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC performer Anna Schatschneider (Avon) as she fired rounds of 88 and 46 for a total of 134. Junior Kelly Linnabary (Westerville/Central) carded rounds of 100 and 46 for a total of 146. Senior Academic All-OAC golfer Rachael Sladky (North Olmsted) posted rounds 102 and 49 for a total of 151.  Junior Leah Metzger (Ashland) had a round of 107 and 49 for a total of 156.  Freshmen Megan Seitz (Columbia Station/Columbia) carded rounds of 113 and 53 for a total of 166. Senior Academic All-OAC performer Aubrey Baumler (Huron) had rounds of 120 and 64 for a total of 184.  

Playing only one day were freshman Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) and junior Mary Fraley (Cleveland/Mayfield).  Thomas posted a round of 125 and Fraley shot a 64.

The Yellow Jackets back in action when it closes out the 2021 regular season on Saturday and Sunday, April 17 and 18 as they travels to Hudson to compete in the John Carroll University Spring Invitational at the Country Club of Hudson.
