Women’s Golf Takes Third at Season Opening Mount Union Spring Fling

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team opened the 2021 season by taking third at the University of Mount Union Spring Fling at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.

BW was third of three teams with 500 strokes on the 6,008 Tannenhauf layout.  Mount Union was the champion with 416 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets were led by junior Kelly Linnabary (Westerville/Central) as she shot a round of 103. Sophomore Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk/St. Paul) tallied a 118. Freshman Megan Seitz (Columbia Station/Columbia) shot a 126 in her first collegiate invitational. Rounding out the scorers was junior Mary Fraley (Cleveland/Mayfield) as she had a 153.

BW is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, March 27 and 28 when it travels back to Alliance to compete in the Mount Union Spring Invitational at Tannenhauf.
