OBERLIN, OHIO --  The Baldwin-Wallace College men's tennis team defeated host Oberlin College, 7-2, inside the John Heisman Center. Earlier today, the Yellow Jackets defeated Ohio Wesleyan University, 8-1.

With the win, B-W is now 8-0 this season and finished 5-1 during the winter portion of its schedule. The Yellow Jackets return to action on their annual Spring Break Trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina from March 3-10. B-W opens action against St. John Fisher (N.Y.) University on March 4 at 6:30 p.m.  With the loss, Oberlin drops to 3-4 overall.

In singles play, senior number one player Alex Trzeciak (Avon Lake) won by the scores of 6-4 and 6-1, junior No.2 player Joe Horvath (North Royalton) won by the scores of 6-1 and 6-1, senior No.3 player  Alexandre Bourdiaux (Paris, FRANCE/Lycee Saint Dominique) won by the scores of 6-3 and 6-4, junior No.4 player Alex Kearney (North Olmsted) won by the scores of 6-1 and 6-3, and junior No.5 player Tyler Beaton (Bemus Point, N.Y./ Maple Grove) won after two tie-breakers in the first and third set.

In doubles action, the No.1 duo of Trzeciak and Bourdiaux won by an 8-2 score and the No.2 tandem of Horvath and Beaton won by an 8-5 tally.
