Trziak Selected as Clyde Lamb Award Winner

BEREA, OHIO - Baldwin-Wallace College has tabbed senior standout men's tennis scholar-athlete Alex Trzeciak (Avon Lake) one of the Clyde Lamb Award winners to the Ohio Athletic Conference.

Trzeciak, who carries a 3.8 grade point average in mathematics and economics and plans to attend graduate school next fall at Washington (Mo.) University, is second all-time in wins in men's tennis and has an 85-20 career singles and 78-25 career doubles mark prior to hosting Marietta and Franciscan University in a doubleheader tomorrow in Berea.  His 163 career combination wins also are second all-time.  This season, Trzeciak has led B-W to a perfect 23-0 overall and 8-0 OAC record, including 13 shutouts, and has helped B-W to compile an amazing four-year slate of 82-13.  He is a three-time All-OAC first-team choice, twice named Academic All-OAC, was tabbed CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District as a sophomore and recognized the past two springs by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as a Scholar-Athlete. He is a Dean's List student, a member of five separate academic honor societies and the recipient of a number of academic scholarships.
