ACADEMIC MAJOR: Biology
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Sean Nischwitz played his third season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2016-2017 and earned his second varsity letter. The two-year varsity starter at outside linebacker played in all 10 games and was named as BW's Most Outstanding Linebacker.
ACADEMIC SUCCESS: Sean carries a 3.247 grade point average and is Dean's List student.
ATHLETICS HONORS: As a junior in 2016-2017, Sean was named as BW's Most Outstanding Linebacker at the annual team banquet.
THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2014-2015, Sean played his first season of football and received a certificate of participatiuon. He saw action at linebacker on the junior varsity team. BW finished 5-5 overall.
As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Sean played his second season of football and earned his first varsity letter. He started at outside linebacker. Sean tied for second on the team with a career-high 66 total tackles, including 30 solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss and two quarterback sacks. He also had one pass breakup. Sean had a career-high 11 tackles in a 28-27 victory at Ohio Northern University on September 19. BW finished 7-3 overall.
As a junior in 2016-2017, Sean played his third season of football and earned his second letter. Sean was named as BW's Most Outstanding Linebacker at the annual team banquet. He started all 10 games at OLB and was fifth on the team with 43 total tackles, including 4.5 for loss (18 yards). He also broke up two passes and recovered a fumble. BW finished 3-7 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Sean Nischwitz grew up in Clinton, Ohio and graduated from Green High School.
Sean played four years of football and earned three varsity letters. He ran three seasons of track and earned one letter. He also played baseball for one seasn.
Sean earned honorable mention All-Suburban League and played in the Stark County All-Star Game.
Academicaly, Sean was an Honor Roll student, Scholar-Athlete Award winner and a member of the National Honors Society.
