ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Pre-Physical Therapy

FOOTBALL INFORMATION:  Howard Dover played his third season of football at Baldwin Wallace University in 2016-2017. He earned his second varsity letter and is a two-year varsity starter at cornerback, including this season.

THROUGH-THE-YEARS:  As a freshman in 2014-2015, Howard played his first season of football and received a certificate of participation. The linebacker split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams. BW finished 5-5 overall.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Howard played his second season of football and earned his first varsity letter. He began the season splitting time at cornerback on the varsity. When fellow junior Caray Sparrow '18 was injured in the third game, Howard moved into the starting lineup and was a key member of the secondary. Howard was credited with making 42 total tackles, including 31 solo stops, and had a team-high 10 pass breakups. BW finished 7-3 overall.

As a junior in 2016-2017, Howard played his third season of football and earned his second letter. He started at cornerback and played all 10 games, had 33 tackles, including 24 solo stops and one for loss. He also had one interception, a team-leading seven total pass breakups and recovered a fumble. BW finished 3-7 overall.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:  Howard Dover grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Akron Firestone High School.

Howard played played football for four years and earned three varsity letters.

Howard was a two-time All-Akron City Series selection, including a first-team pick as a senior. He also was named as a two-time All-ACS All-Academic Team member and received the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award in 2013.
