Complete All-North Region Team (.pdf)

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior defensive end Derron Hamilton (Euclid) has been named second-team D3football.com (www.d3football.com) All-North Region team (announced Tuesday, December 6, 2011).  This marks the first All-Region selection in his career.

Hamilton, a sport management major, was a three-year varsity contributor who had his best season as a collegian this fall. He had a career-high 39 tackles, including an Ohio Athletic Conference-leading 15 tackles for loss and 11.0 quarterback sacks for minus 80 yards. His 11 QB sacks ranks fourth in Division III and were two shy of tying a B-W single-season record. He also recovered two fumbles and had one pass breakup. Hamilton ends his career with 75 tackles, including 20.5 tackles for losses and 15.5 QB sacks. He was named as the OAC Defensive Player of the Week for his three and one-half sack effort in a 17-7 win at Marietta College.

The Yellow Jackets had an outstanding season and finished with a record of 8-2 overall and finished second in the OAC with a 7-2 mark.
