Cross Country Releases 2019 Schedule

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's cross country teams, under the direction of Coordinator of Cross Country and Track and Field and fifth-year Head Cross Country Coach Joe Eby, will open up the 2019 season by competing in the Wooster Invitational on Friday, August 30.

The Yellow Jackets continue the season with the Tommy Evans Invitational on Saturday, September 7, hosted by NCAA Division I University of Akron in Norton. The month will wrap up with the annual All-Ohio Championships on Saturday, Sept. 28, in Cedarville, and the Pre-Nationals Meet on Saturday, October 5, in Louisville, Kentucky.

BW will next run in the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday, Oct. 12. John Carroll University hosts the 2019 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday, November 2, in Gates Mills. 

The NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships will take place on Saturday, Nov. 16, hosted by Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, while the 2019 NCAA Championships are slated for Saturday, Nov. 23, in Louisville.

The BW women finished the 2018 season as the runners-up at the OAC Championships, won the school's first regional cross country title and placed 27th at the national meet. The Yellow Jacket men took fifth at the OAC meet and finished ninth overall at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships.
