WILMINGTON, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University volleyball team won its seventh straight Ohio Athletic Conference match against Wilmington College as it posted a straight set victory in the Fred Raizk Arena.
BW (20-5, 1-0 OAC), who has not lost a game in the seven match winning streak defeated Wilmington (0-21, 0-5 OAC), who has won just three sets all season, by scores of 25-12, 25-15 and 25-17. The last Quakers victory came on September 23, 2008 when Wilmington won in straight sets.
Freshman outside hitter Morgan Thomas (Northfield/Nordonia) sparked the offense with a match-high 12 kills. Freshman outside hitter Alicia Lortcher (Norwalk) was the other Yellow Jacket attacker in double figures with 10 kills.

Freshman setter Ashley Nuding (Perrysburg /Springfield) set up the offense with 20 assists.
Freshman libero Brittany Miner (Canton/Massillon Perry) anchored the defense with a match-high 17 digs. Lortcher added 13 digs.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, October 20 when they host cross-town rival John Carroll University in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside of the Lou Higgins Center at 7 p.m.
