BW Volleyball Picked Seventh in Preseason OAC Coaches Poll

BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University team has been picked to finish seventh in the Ohio Athletic Conference Coaches Preseason Poll.

The Yellow Jackets finished the 2014 campaign with a record of 15-15 and a seventh place standing in the OAC.

Head Coach Scott Carter
, who enters his first season at BW and fourth overall season of coaching, returns seven letter winners, six players that saw time in the rotation a season ago and welcomes 13 newcomers to this season's squad.

BW opens the 2015 season on Tuesday, September 1 when it travels to Adrian, Michigan for a non-conference match against Adrian College at 7 p.m.   The Yellow Jackets then travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to take part in the La Roche College Tournament on Friday, September 4 and 5.   BW opens tournament action against Chatham (Pa.) University at 6 p.m. on Friday night.

The home opener and annual Marcia French Memorial Invitational is slated for Friday and Saturday, September 11-12 and is once again co-hosted with Case Western Reserve University. The first OAC match is on Saturday, October 3 in the Ursprung Gymnasium at 1 p.m.
