No. 5 Men’s Wrestling Finishes Ninth at NWCA National Duals

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The No. 5 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team finished in ninth place at the National Wrestling Coaches National Duals inside the University of Northern Iowa Dome.

BW (9-2) defeated No. 19 nationally ranked Luther (Iowa) College by a final score of 22-16, loss to No. 4 nationally ranked North Central (Ill.) College by a final score of 34-4, loss to No. 6 nationally ranked Castleton (Vt.) University by a final score of 19-17 defeated Dubuque (Iowa) College by a final score of 28-12 and defeated The College of New Jersey by a final score of 27-14.

  • 125 pounds:    Senior All-American and No. 1 nationally ranked Jacob Decatur (Akron/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) won a 6-3 decision over Cristian Chavez
  • 133 pounds:    Senior All-American and No. 4 nationally ranked Jaden Hinton (Glassboro, N.J.) won a 9-1 major decision over Hunter Goodwin
