BW Men Drop First Round Match in Seahawk Classic, 2-0 to Salisbury University (Md.)

SAINT MARY'S CITY, Md.- -  The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team dropped its first round match to Salisbury (Md.) University, 2-0, late Saturday afternoon at the Seahawk Classic tournament hosted by Saint Mary's College. 

In the first half, Salisbury (2-0-1) scored its first goal of the match at the 20:01 mark when senior forward Benjamin Aryeetey scored his third goal this season.  Senior forward Tanner East was credited on the assist.  The score remained 1-0 at halftime.

In the second half, the Sea Gulls scored their second goal of the game at the 67:58 mark.  Senior forward Matt Greene scored his third goal of the season.  The Yellow Jackets (1-2) could not find the back of the net against a tough Sea Gulls defensive effort in the match.  
The BW men will remain in Saint Mary's City, Md. for the second and final match at the Seahawk Classic Tournament tomorrow afternoon, Sunday, September, 7 against St. Mary's College at 3 p.m.  Next Wednesday, September 10, the Yellow Jackets will travel crosstown to play rival Case Western Reserve University at 7:30 p.m.
