BW Cross Country Teams Compete at All-Ohio Meet

CEDARVILLE, OHIO.  --  The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team competed today at the annual All-Ohio Championship Meet hosted by Cedarville University.

The Yellow Jacket women totaled 416 points to rank 14th of 21 schools.

Leading the way for the women was sophomore Kali Fittro (Tiffin/Columbian) who finished 62nd of 140 total runners in the 6,000-meter run with a time of 25:21.23.

Fittro was followed by senior Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) in 72nd place in 25:57.86, senior Blair Vrcan (Mentor) in 88th place in 26:42.69, sophomore Molly Rehor (Fairview Park/Fairview) in 94th place in 27:09.03 and senior Lauren Hutka (North Ridgeville/Midview) in 106th place in 27:09.03. The top 35 runners are All-Ohio.

In the 6,000-meter open run, sophomore Alyssa Nieset (Geneva) placed 162th of 230 total runners in a mark of 28:15.36.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Ocober 19 when they travel to nearby Oberlin to compete at the Inter-Regional Meet hosted by Oberlin College at 10:30 a.m.
