OBERLIN, OHIO.  --  The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team competed today (Saturday, October 19, 2013) at the annual Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble.

The Yellow Jacket women totaled 677 points to rank 22nd of 34 schools in the Varsity Run.

Leading the way for the women in the 6K Varsity Race was sophomore Kali Fittro (Tiffin/ Columbian) who finished 108th of 283 total runners with a time of 23:52.4.  The top five runners scores count toward the team total.

Fittro was followed by senior Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) in 112th place in 23:56.3, senior Blair Vrcan (Mentor) in 156th place in 24:35.0, sophomore Alyssa Nieset (Geneva) in 186th place in 25:17.1 and sophomore Molly Rehor (Fairview Park/ Fairview) in 210th place in 25:43.5.

In addition in the Varsity Race, junior Dusica Vasic (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Heights) was 222nd in 26:19.8, senior Lauren Hutka (North Ridgeville/ Grafton Midview) was 242nd in 26:51.2, freshman Alivia Stephan (Carey) was 249th in 27:10.2 and sophomore Jennifer Dudley (Berea) was 273rd in 30:01.1 overall.

The Yellow Jackets are idle next weekend and next compete at the 2013 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Meet at Otterbein University on Saturday, November 2.
