BW Women 22nd at NCAA Regional Meet

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN  --  The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team placed 29th and the women were 22nd today (Saturday, November 16, 2013) at the 2013 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region Championship Meet, hosted by Calvin (Mich.) College.  This was the final meet of the season.

The Yellow Jacket women totaled 648 points to rank 22nd of 33 teams.

Leading the way for the women was senior Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) who placed 71st of 244 total runners with a time of 23:38.5 on the 5,000-meter course.

Hradisky was followed by sophomore Kali Fittro (Tiffin/Columbian) in 121st place in 24:40.6, senior Blair Vrcan (Mentor) in 129th place in 24:54.8, sophomore Alyssa Nieset (Geneva) in 155th place in 25:30.0 and junior Dusica Vasic (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) in 172nd place in 25:50.5.
