Women's Cross Country Team Competes at Wooster Invite

WOOSTER, OHIO --  The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team opened their 2013 season by competing at the unscored The College of Wooster Invitational Meet at the L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course on Friday.

Leading the way was senior Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) who finished eighth overall with a mark of 16:59.1 in the 4k run. She was followed by senior Blair Vrcan (Mentor), who placed ninth overall in a time of 17:04.4. Sophomore Molly Rehor (Fairview Park/Fairview) placed 11th and crossed the finish line in a time of 17:16.2.

In the 5k run, sophomore Kali Fittro (Tiffin/Columbian) finished eighth overall in a time of 22:08.4. In addition to Fittro, junior Dusica Vasic (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) placed 14th when crossing the finish line in a time of 23:05.6.

The Yellow Jackets are idle until they compete on Saturday, September 7 when they travel to Delaware to compete at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
