BW Women Places Sixth at OAC Championships

WESTERVILLE, Ohio  --  The Baldwin Wallace University women cross country team places sixth today at the 2013 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Meet hosted by Otterbein University.

The top 18 runners are deemed All-OAC (first nine make the first-team and the second nine make the second-team). The Yellow Jacket women totaled 198 points to rank sixth of 10 teams.

Leading the way for the women was sophomore Kali Fittro (Tiffin/Columbian) who finished 12th of 137 total runners in a time of 23:52.1 to earn second-team All-OAC honors.  

Fittro was followed by senior Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) in 39th place in 25:00.0. Also, Blair Vrcan (Mentor) placed 41st in 25:06.2, Alyssa Nieset (Geneva) placed 68th in 26:04.3, Molly Rehor (Fairview Park/Fairview) placed 72nd in 26:12.2.

The Yellow Jackets are idle next weekend and next compete at the 2013 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region Championship Meet at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday, November 16.  The top 35 runners earn all-region honors.
