OBERLIN, OHIO --  The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team competed today at the first day of the Oberlin College Invitational.  Due to the inclement weather, single matches were washed out and only doubles matches were played inside the Heisman Field house and at Fox Creek Country Club

The tournament will resume on Saturday morning as singles matches will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Don Hunsinger Tennis Courts.

In their first match as partners, freshman Hayley Peterson (Tusla, Okla.) and senior Elizabeth Keller (Cincinnati / Walnut Hills) lost to Kirstie Oravec and  Abbey Turner of Allegheny College, 9-8.

Following the final two days of the Oberlin Invitational, the BW women wrap up the fall portion of its schedule 2013 fall season at the annual ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Central Region Tournament from Sept. 20-22.
