WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Following the completion of the 2018 Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Tournament on Saturday evening, Baldwin Wallace University senior three-time All-OAC and Academic All-OAC forward Rachel Bender (Massillon/Jackson) was named to the All-Tournament Team.

During the Yellow Jackets' 2-0 loss to Capital University in the OAC Quarterfinals, Bender led the team with her four shots. Both of her shots on goal in the game had the potential to be an equalizing goal for BW while she also had a goal waved off due to an offside call.

This season, Bender finished atop the team and the conference in shots (143), assists (16) and points (44) while tying for third in the OAC with her team-high 14 goals. Her season assist mark helped her to break two separate school records: single-season assists and career assists.

Bender finished her stellar four-year career in Brown and Gold with 60 goals, 37 assists, 157 points and 18 game-winning goals. She graduates as the career assist leader and second all-time in career goals and career points.

BW finished the 2018 campaign with a 11-7-1 record and a 5-4 mark in the conference, advancing to the OAC Tournament for the sixth consecutive season.
