LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team opened its spring break trip with a non-conference contest against Transylvania University (Ky.). After a back-and-forth start, the Yellow Jackets (1-3) succumbed to a second-half Pioneers' (2-2) surge, falling by a final score of 13-6 inside Transylvania's Pat Deacon Stadium. 

BW was led by sophomore attacker/midfielder Lily Tope (Delaware/Hayes) as she scored twice to lead the Yellow Jackets. Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder Kaitlyn Hradek (Olmsted Township/Olmsted Falls) also finished with two points on the evening, adding a goal and an assist for the Yellow Jackets. 

Transylvania was led by senior midfielder Mandi Rider's game-high five points, including four goals and an assist. The Pioneers' sophomore midfielder Charlotte Green and senior attacker Abbey Peterson added hat tricks in the 13-6 victory.
