UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team traveled to crosstown rival John Carroll University for an Ohio Athletic Conference on the Wasmer Field inside Don Shula Stadium. A second-half Blue Streaks surge proved to be the difference, as the Yellow Jackets fell by a final score of 13-8.

BW (3-7, 1-1 OAC) was led by senior midfielder Kaitlyn Hradek (Olmsted Township/Olmsted Falls), as she scored a team-high four goals, including a first-quarter hat trick. Freshman attacker Carley House (Hilliard/Darby) added four points of her own, notching one goal and a career-high four assists. In net, freshman goalkeeper Caroline Potteiger (Grand Rapids, Mich./ East Grand Rapids) recorded nine saves in the loss.

JCU (3-5, 1-0 OAC) was led by senior midfielder Olivia Gerlach's game-high five points, including four goals and an assist. Senior midfielder Shannon Burdick also tallied four goals for the Blue Streaks.
