NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team faced Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Muskingum University in its conference opener on North Turf Field. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Fighting Muskies by a final score of 18-7. 

BW (3-6, 1-0 OAC) was led by senior All-OAC midfielder Kaitlyn Hradek (Olmsted Township/Olmsted Falls) who recorded six goals. Senior Academic All-OAC attacker Sophia Leuma (Bloomington, Minn./Thomas Jefferson) notched four goals and one assist. 

Freshman goalkeeper Caroline Potteiger (Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) had eight saves on the 15 shots she faced. 

Muskingum (3-5, 0-1 OAC) was led by Riley Hudock with two goals. Goalie Kyleigh Dahlgren recorded 10 saves on the 28 shots she faced
