ATLANATA, Ga. -- For the 10th time in school-history, the Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team has received the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top-25 Award. 

The award which is in its 26th year, honors the top-25 academic teams in NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year colleges.

Under the guidance of Veteran Head Coach Cheri Harrer, BW placed 20th after finishing the 2020-21 academic year with a 3.663 GPA.  The Yellow Jackets were one of two Ohio Athletic Conference teams to be honored.

BW finished the 2021 season with a record of 8-4 and third in the OAC with a mark of 8-4.   The Yellow Jackets advanced to the OAC Tournament Championship game for the second straight season.
