BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Lauren Feciuch will play in her fourth season of softball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. She has earned her third varsity letter and will look to earn her fourth next season.

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Lauren has had a solid softball career thus far. BW has recorded 66-48 record during her first two seasons in the Brown & Gold. For her career, Lauren is hitting .339 (94-of-292) with 56 runs scored, 24 doubles, 54 RBI, 3 triples, and 8 home runs.

As a freshman in 2011, Lauren played her first season of softball and earned her first varsity letter. She was named honorable mention All-Ohio Athletic Conference and to the 2011 OAC Softball All-Tournament Team for her efforts in leading the Yellow Jackets to the 2011 OAC Tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. Lauren started all 39 games, recorded a .282 batting average (29 base hits in 103 at-bats), scored 16 runs, had eight doubles, three triples and two home runs and drove in 19 runs. Her biggest hit of the season was a walkoff homerun in the ninth inning in the OAC Tournament Championship Game to give B-W a 2-1 victory and a bid to the national tourney. Lauren helped B-W to compile a 28-11 record and tie the school single-season record for victories.

As a sophomore in 2012, Lauren played her second season of softball and started every game. She switched positions this year and is the starting third baseman.  Lauren finished the season with the highest batting average at .387 (48 base hits in 124 at-bats). She scored 23 runs, drove in 26, and had a team high five home runs.  Lauren also led the team with eight stolen bases on eight attempts. In the field Lauren recorded 58 put outs, 108 assists.

As a junior in 2012-13, Lauren played in her third season of softball and played in 20 games while starting 18 games and earned her third varsity letter. Lauren finished the season with a batting average of .262 (17 hits in 65 at-bats). She scpred 17 runs, recorded nine runs batted in and had one home run. Lauren stole one base and in the field had 131 put outs and 228 assists.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Lauren will play her fourth season of softball and look to earn her fourth varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Lauren Feciuch grew up in Kent, Ohio and graduated from Field High School. Lauren competed for four years in volleyball, basketball and softball and earned four varsity letters in each sport.

In volleyball as a senior in 2009-10, Lauren was a first-team Portage Trail Conference and first-team All-District selection. She also was named second-team as a sophomore and junior and honorable mention All-PTC as a freshman.  In softball, Lauren was a first-team All-PTC pick as a junior and senior and a second-team choice as a freshman and sophomore. In basketball, Lauren was a second-team All-PTC pick as a junior and an honorable mention choice as a senior. Academically, Lauren was a four-year academic award-winner in volleyball, basketball and softball and a member of the National Honor Society. During her 4-year softball career, Lauren batted .398 overall.
