BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Jessica Chidsey played her first season of softball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2012-2013.  She earned her first varsity letter. Jessica transferred to BW in the winter/spring of 2013 from the University of Mount Union.

ACADEMIC INFORMATION:   Jessica is a criminal justice major.

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2013, Jessica competed in her first season of softball. Jessica appeared in 35 games and started 33. She had a batting average of .289 (22 hits in 76 at-bats) with one double and six RBI's. Jessica had a slugging percentage of .303 and she stole base 10 times in 11 attempts. In the field, Jessica had 35 put outs, 2 assists, and 3 errors with a fielding percentage of .925. Jessica earned her first varsity letter as a freshman.  

As a sophomore in 2014, Jessica looks to earn her second letter in two years.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Jessica Chidsey grew up in West Salem, Ohio and graduated from Black River High School.  She played four years of softball and earned four varsity letters. She also played basketball for four seasons and lettered three times.

In softball, Jessica earned All-District honors as a senior when she set a Medina County Record for stolen bases. She earned All-Patriot Athletic Conference honors as a junior and was an All-Medina County selection as a sophomore, junior and senior. As a senior in basketball, Jessica was first-team All-PAC and led Medina County in scoring.

Academically, Jessica was an Honor Roll student and received a Distinguished Student Award at graduation.
