BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Kate Carabin will play her fourth season of softball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014. Kate earned her third varsity letter and her role as team captain.

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Kate has had a solid softball career thus far. BW has recorded 64-51 record during her first two seasons in the Brown & Gold. For her career, Kate is hitting .121 (4-of-33) with 18 runs scored and 2 RBI's.

As a freshman in 2011, Kate played in her first season of softball appearing in 18 games and starting one. Kate recorded nine at-bats getting two hits, posting a .222 batting average (2 hits on 9 at-bats). She drove in one run and and stole two bases in three attempts. She posted an .800 fielding percentage with three put outs, one assist and one error.

As a sophomore in 2012, Kate played in her second year of softball appearing in 27 games, starting six of them. Kate recorded six hits.  In the field, she had a fielding percentage of .857, with six put outs and one error.

As a junior in 2012-13, Kate played in her third year of softball appearing in 23 games, starting 14 of them. She recorded two hits and had a fielding percentage of .813 with 13 put outs and 3 errors. Kate earned the role of team captain and her third varsity letter.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Kate will play in her fourth season of softball.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Kate Carabin grew up in Norwalk, Ohio and graduated from St. Paul High School. Kate played Volleyball and earned two letters. She also played Softball and earned three letters.

In volleyball, Kate recieved honorable mention conference junior and senior year. In softball, she earned second team all conference senior year as well as most improved player
