BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Sami Brown will play in her fourth season of softball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014. She will look to earn her fourth varsity letter.

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Sami has had a solid softball career thus far. BW has recorded 64-51 record during her first three seasons in the Brown & Gold. For her career, Sami is hitting .169 (21-of-124) with three runs scored, four doubles, six RBI, and one home run.

As a freshman in 2011, Sami played in her first season as a Yellow Jacket appearing in 22 games and starting 21 of them. In 49 at-bats, she recorded 11 hits to post a .224 batting average. She recorded five RBI's. Sami also had four extra base hits including three doubles and one home run. In the field, she had 101 put outs, four assists and only two errors for an outstanding .981 fielding percentage.

As a sophomore in 2012, Sami played in her second season as a Yellow Jacket appearing in 23 games and starting 19 of them. Samantha only had eight at-bats and one hit for a double and an RBI.  In the field, she had 103 put outs, seven assists and only one error for an amazing .991 feilding percentage.

As a junior in 2012-13, Samantha competed in her third season of softball appearing in 34 games and starting 32 of them.  On the year Sami had nine hits, four runs scored, three doubles. one home run and a career-high eight runs-batted-in. Samantha earned her third varsity letter.

As a senior in 2013-2014, Samantha will play her fourth season of softball looking to earn her fourth varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Sami Brown grew up in Kent, Ohio and graduated from Field High School. Sami played softball for four years and lettered in two.  She also participated in Soccer for four years, lettering in three.  Sami also played volleyball for one year.

In her four years of softball, Sami was an honorable mention, and second team all conference. She also was the most valuable player for her team, and honorable mention, and second team all conference for soccer.
