Men's Soccer Defeated by Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Ohio -  The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team was defeated by Wilmington College in an Ohio Athletic Conference game by a final score of 4-0 on Townsend Field inside Williams Stadium.

Wilmington (6-1, 6-1 OAC) opened the scoring in the third minute when Casey Miller found the back of the net off the assist from Ian Molfenter.   The Quakers increaed their lead to 2-0 on the goal from Molfenter in the 19th minute.

Wilmington added two more second half goals coming from Yusef Muqtadir in the 52nd minute and the last coming off the foot of Bryce Roberts in the 69th minute.

In net for BW (2-3-2, 2-3-2 OAC), sophomore goalkeeper Matt Weaver (Ontario) suffered the loss as he allowed four goals on 20 shots with four saves.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Thursday, April 8 when they host their regular season home OAC game against the University of Mount Union on the Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium at 7 p.m.
