Men’s Golf Takes Eighth at OAC Spring Preview

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team placed eighth at the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Preview hosted by Marietta College at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW was eighth of eight teams with 314 strokes on the par-72 and 5,811-yard River Greens layout.  Otterbein University was the champion with 281 strokes.

  • Senior Academic All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut/Edgewood) fired a round of 73
  • Junior Logan Cook (Berea/Berea-Midpark) shot a round of 75
  • Freshman Charlie DeCapua (Independence) posted a round of 81
  • Junior Academic All-OAC Christian Miller (North Lawrence/Tuslaw) tallied a round of 85
  • Freshman CJ Goodrich (Chardon) had a round of 89

Individuals

  • Senior Trevor Mackey (Brunswick) carded a round of 81
  • Junior Brandon Eddy (Lewis Center/Olentangy) shot a round of 82
  • Freshman Hunter Shrefler (Middleburg Heights/Berea-Midpark) posted a round of 86
  • Junior Ben McCallum (Canton/Massillon Jackson) tallied a round of 90
  • Freshman Zach Martin (Poland/Seminary) had a round of 93

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14 when they travel to nearby Wooster to compete in the Nye Intercollegiate hosted by The College of Wooster at the Wooster Country Club.
