Men’s Golf Finishes Ninth at BW Fall Invitational

HINCKLEY, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished in ninth place at its own BW Fall Invitational at the Pine Hills Golf Club. 

The Yellow Jackets were ninth of 10 teams with 323 total strokes on the par-72 and 6,572 Pine Hills layout.  Ohio Wesleyan University was the champions with 295 strokes.

  • Junior Logan Cook (Berea/Berea-Midpark) finished tied for fifth place of 93 golfers fired a career-low round of 72
  • Senior Trevor Mackey (Brunswick) cared a season-low round of 81
  • Freshman CJ Goodrich (Chardon) shot a round of 84.
  • Senior Academic All-OAC golfer Ryan Green (Conneaut/Edgewood), who is this week's Co-OAC Men's Golfer of the Week, tallied a round of 86
  • Junior Academic All-OAC golfer Christian Miller (North Lawrence/Tuslaw) had a round of 87

Individuals

  • Freshman Zach Martin (Poland/Seminary) shot a round of 84
  • Sophomore Ben McCallum (Canton/Massillon Jackson) carded a round of 86
  • Sophomore Zach Hritz (Columbia Station/Columbia) shot a round of 88
  • Junior Brandon Eddy (Lewis Center/Olentangy) carded a round of 90
  • Freshman Hunter Shrefler (Middleburg Heights/Berea-Midpark) tallied a round of 91
  • Junior Ethan Morrison (Conneaut) had a round of 111

BW is back in action on September 16 and 17 when it travels to nearby Highland Hills to compete in the Battle of the Cuyahoga Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the Highland Park Golf Course.
