Men’s Golf Finishes Third at BW Spring Invitational

HINCKLEY, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team placed third at its own BW Spring Invitational at the Pine Hills Golf Club.

BW was third of four teams with 340 strokes on the par 72 and 6,572 Pine Hills layout. Heidelberg University was the champion with 316 strokes.

  • Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Ryan Green (Conneaut/Edgewood) and junior Academic All-OAC Christian Miller (North Lawrence/Tuslaw) each carded a round of 83
  • Junior Logan Cook (Berea/Berea-Midpark) and freshman CJ Goodrich (Chardon) each shot a round of 87
  • Freshman Charlie DeCapua (Independence) posted a round of 88

Individuals

  • Junior Brandon Eddy (Lewis Center/Olentangy) and freshman Hunter Shrefler (Middleburg Heights/Berea-Midpark) each carded a round of 91
  • Freshman Zach Martin (Poland/Seminary) shot a round of 92
  • Sophomore Zach Hritz (Columbia Station/Columbia) posted a round of 95
  • Junior Ethan Morrison (Conneaut) tallied a round of 112

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, April 6 when they travel to West Lafayette to compete in the OA Spring Preview at the River Greens Golf Course.
