Three Men's Golfers Earn All-OAC Honors, Finish Fourth at OAC Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Three Baldwin Wallace University men's golfers earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors as team concluded its season with a fourth-place finish at the 72-hole OAC Championships hosted by Muskingum University at the River Greens Golf Course.

The OAC Championship featured 27 holes on the first two days of competition and a final 18 holes on the third and final day.  The fourteen lowest-scoring individuals, including ties, receive All-OAC honors. 

BW was fourth of nine teams with a championship total of 1,234 strokes on the par-72 and 6,866-yard River Greens layout.  Otterbein University was the champion with a total of 1207 strokes.

The Yellow Jackets were led by freshman Ryan Green (Conneaut/Edgewood) as he finished seventh of 45 golfers to earn his first career All-OAC selection.  Green fired rounds of 75, 77, 80, and a career-low round of 74 for a three-day total of 306.  Senior Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) fired rounds of 76, 80, 78 and 76 for a total of 310, and junior Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) carded rounds of 80, 75, 79 and 76 for an identical total of 310 to tie in 13th place.  Clark earned his second All-OAC accolade,  Bratsch collected his first career All-OAC honor. Senior Jared Budner (Macedonia/Nordonia) posted rounds of 80, 79, a season-best 77 and 78 for a total of 314.  Rounding out the top five was junior Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights/Padua Franciscan) as he tallied rounds of 78, 85, 79 and a career-best 75 for a total of 317.
