Clark Co-Medalist, Men’s Golf Takes Third at Mount Union Spring Fling

ALLIANCE, Ohio – Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) fired a round of 74 to earn co-medalist honors as the Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished third at the University of Mount Union Spring Fling at the Alliance Country Club.

BW was third of three teams with 310 strokes on the par-70 and 6,420-yard Alliance C.C.  Mount Union was the team champion with 305 strokes. 

In addition to Clark for the Yellow Jackets, junior Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights /Padua Franciscan) ­carded a career-best round of 78. Senior Jared Budner (Macedonia/Nordonia) and junior Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) each posted a round of 79. Rounding out the top five was freshman Ryan Green (Conneaut/Edgewood) had a round of 86 in his first collegiate match.

Playing as individuals were senior Dylan Boff (Broadview Heights/North Royalton), junior Mike Douzos (Amherst/Firelands) and freshman Alex Baker (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills).   Boff led the individuals with a round of 83.  Douzos had a 102 and Baker posted a 105.

BW is back in action on Saturday, April 10 when it plays a dual match against crosstown rival John Carroll University.
