BEREA, Ohio –   The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team is ranked No. 22 in the second weekly D3hoops.com coaches poll that was releases on Monday.

BW (4-1, 1-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) received 81 points to crack the top-25 for the second straight season.  The Yellow Jackets were ranked No. 20 in the first weekly poll last season and have been ranked as high as No. 13 during the 2006-07 season.

BW enters the poll after sophomore guard Michael Quiring (Brunswick), who is this week's OAC Men's Basketball Player of the week, hit a game-winning three-pointer as time expired to defeat previously No. 6 ranked Marietta College by a final score of 73-72 last Saturday.  The Yellow Jackets, who won their third straight game on Saturday, have knocked off two top-25 teams this season after beating No. 10 ranked the University of Wisconsin at River Falls in the season opener.

Whitman (Wash.) College took the top spot with 625 points and all 25 first place votes. Middlebury (Vt.) College is second with 580 points and the University Wisconsin at Whitewater rounds of the top three with 560 points.  Marietta, who is the only other OAC school in the poll, fell to 13th.

BW returns to action on Saturday, December 9 when it travels to New Concord to face Muskingum University in the second game of a men's and women's OAC doubleheader on Performance Court at 4 p.m.
