Football to be Featured on Through the Lens of CBS Sports:  College Football at 150

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University football program will be one of seven features during the CBS Sports documentary "Through the Lens of CBS Sports:  College Football at 150" on Saturday, November 2.

The documentary, which was produced by Alanna Campbell, features historical footage and memories spanning seven decades while celebrating those unforgettable stories and the network's contributions to the college football landscape as it continues to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the sport.

The 1982 BW and Wittenberg University football game that aired on a Sunday during the NFL Strike and featured the top NFL broadcasters in Pat Summerall and John Madden is the only NCAA Division III segment to air during the one-hour show. 

In addition to highlights from the game, BW Hall of Fame coach Larry Van Dusen as well as BW Hall of Fame linebacker Mark Rodriguez '83 and BW Hall of Fame placekicker Steve Varga '83 were interviewed on campus to provide comments and memories about the game and the season.

The show which airs on the CBS Television Network at 1:30 p.m. and leads into THE DRIVE TO ATLANTA (2:30 PM, ET), COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY (3:00 PM, ET) and the SEC on CBS "Game of the Week" between No. 6 Florida and No. 8 Georgia (3:30 PM, ET).
