FINDLAY, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) is the OAC Champion for the second time in the last three seasons as the women's cross country team placed fourth at the OAC Championships hosted by Ohio Northern University at the Hillcrest Golf Club.
Murphy, who was the OAC Champion and the OAC Runner of the Year in 2022, led BW to fourth place finish of 10 teams with 106 points. John Carroll University was the champion with 32 points.
The top-10 finishers earn All-OAC first-team honors while the next 10-finishers earn All-OAC second-team honors. Only the top-7 finishers from each team are eligible for these honors.

Murphy, who was first of 111 runners, earned All-OAC first-team honors as she placed 1st with a time of 21:56.54

Freshman Abbie George (Ebensburg, Pa. /Central Cambria) earned All-OAC second team honors as she finished 15th with a time of 22:55.61

Freshman Rylee Barno (Columbus/Bexley) placed 23rd with a time of 23:18.43

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 11 when they travel to Norton to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships hosted by John Carroll University at the Silver Creek Metro Parks Cross Country Trails at 12 p.m.
