Murphy Competes at NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships

NEWVILLE, Pa. – Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) competed at the 2023 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School.

Murphy concludes her junior year as she finished 94th in the 6k run in a time of 22:26.6 after coming into the meet from placing fifth in the DIII Great Lakes Cross Country Regional Championships. Before regionals, Murphy placed first in a time of 21:56.6 at the OAC Championships. Last year, she finished 90th in the 6k run in a time of 23:22.4 at the 2022 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. This is her third time qualifying for the NCAA Cross Country Championship.

Carleton (Minn.) College took home the trophy in 1st place.
