Women’s Golf Ties for Sixth at Mount Union Fall Invitational

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team tied for sixth at the University of Mount Union Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.

BW was tied sixth of 10 teams with 367 strokes on the par-72 and 6,008-yard Tannenhauf layout.  The College of Wooster was the champion with 317 strokes.

  • Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference golfer Brooke Newsome (Clyde) fired a round of 86
  • Sophomore Alana Smith (Fremont/Ross) shot a round of 90
  • Junior Halle Kalaman (Tallmadge/Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) carded a round of 92
  • Junior Academic All-OAC golfer Steph Neff (Seven Hills/Padua Franciscan) had a round of 99
  • Senior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) had a round of 115 

Individual

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17 when they travel to Fostoria to compete in the Heidelberg University Fall Invitational at the Fostoria Country Club.
