Women’s Golf Takes 13th at Heidelberg Fall Invitational

 FOSTORIA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished 13th at the Heidelberg University Fall Invitational at the Fostoria Country Club.

BW was 13 of 13 teams with 755 strokes on the par-72 and 5,807 yard Fostoria layout.  Ohio Northern University was the champion with 611 strokes.

  • Sophomore Alana Smith (Fremont/Ross) carded rounds of 88 and 84 for a two-round total of 172
  • Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference golfer Brooke Newsome (Clyde) posted rounds of 88 and 93 for a two-day total of 181
  • Freshman Daniella Patrone (Poland/Ursuline) tallied rounds of 99 and 97 for a two-round total of 196
  • Senior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) had rounds of 104 and 102 for a two-day total pf 206 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1 when they travel to West Lafyette to compete in the OAC Fall Preview
