Women's Golf Places Third at OAC Spring Preview

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed third at the OAC Spring Preview at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW finished third with a total of 385 strokes on the River Greens Golf Course. University of Mount Union took first place with 353 strokes.

The leading the Yellow Jackets:

  • Sophomore Brooke Newsome (Clyde) placed fifth with a round of 92.
  • Freshman Alana Smith (Fremont / Ross) tied for seventh carding a round of 94.
  • Senior Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk / St. Paul) placed tenth and tallied a round of 97.
  • Junior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) tied for 12th place with a round of 102.

BW returns to action Monday, April 10th, at the Fox Meadow Invitational (hosted by Muskingum University) at the Fox Meadow Country Club in Medina.
