Women's Golf Finish Third in Hosted Fall Invitational

ELYRIA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed third at hosted, BW Fall Invitational at Valley of the Eagles Golf Club 

BW finished third out of three teams with a total of 406 strokes on the par 72 and 5,886 yard layout of Valley of the Eagles Golf Club. Mount Union Univeristy took first place with 365 strokes.

The top five leading the Yellow Jackets:

  • Sophomore Lauren Neher (Norwalk / Edison) finished for fifth and shot a round of 93.
  • Sophomore Halle Kalaman (Tallmadge / Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) tied for 10th with a round of 104
  • Sophomore Brooke Newsome (Clyde) tied for 10th while carding a round of 104
  • Freshman Alana Smith (Fremont / Ross) tied for 13rd and tallied a round of 105
  • Sophomore Hannah Ogden (Poland/Poland Seminary) placed 15th and shot a round of 108

Playing as individual:

  • Junior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) finished for 16th place and carded a round of 112
  • Junior Academic All-OAC selection Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk/St. Paul) placed for 17th and tallied a round of 113
  • Sophomore  Steph Neff (Seven Hills / Padua Franciscan) finished in 19th place and shot a round of 120 

BW returns to action in March of 2023 when it begins the spring portion of its schedule during its annual spring break trip
