Women's Golf Takes Fourth at Fox Meadow Invitational

MEDINA, Ohio -  The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed fourth at the Fox Meadow Invitational at the Fox Meadow Country Club hosted by Muskingum University.

BW finished fourth with a total of 381 strokes on the Fox Meadow Golf Course. NCAA Division II Wheeling University took first place with 326 strokes.

The leading the Yellow Jackets:

  • Sophomore Brooke Newsome (Clyde) tied for eighth with a round of 87.
  • Freshman Alana Smith (Fremont / Ross) tied for 10th while carding a round of 88.
  • Sophomore Hannah Ogden (Poland/Poland Seminary) tied for 22nd with a round of 101.
  • Junior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) tied for 24th place with a round of 105.
  • Senior Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk / St. Paul) placed 27th and tallied a round of 112.

BW returns to action Sunday April 16th, at the Fox Sawmill Creek Golf Club at Terra State Community College Spring Match Play in Huron, Ohio.
