Women's Golf Finish Third at Muskingum Spring Invitational

ZANESVILLE, Ohio. - The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed third at the Muskingum Spring Invitational at the Zanesville Country Club.

BW finished third out of five teams with a total of 372 strokes on the Zanesville Country Club course. Otterbein Univeristy took first place with 315 strokes.

The leading the Yellow Jackets:

  • Freshman Alana Smith (Fremont / Ross) placed ninth with a round of 91.
  • Sophomore Brooke Newsome (Clyde) finished 10th and shot a round of 92.
  • Sophomore Hannah Ogden (Poland/Poland Seminary) tied 12th while carding a round of 94.
  • Senior Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk / St. Paul) placed for 15th and tallied a round of 95.
  • Junior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) finished for 16th place with a round of 114

BW returns to action Saturday, April 2nd at the OAC Spring Preview at the River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio
