    BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College sophomore catcher Tanya Davis (Hinckley/ Medina Highland) has been named to the 2009 Softball Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team. Davis was also tabbed as an ESPN THE MAGAZINEAcademic All-District IV selection earlier this spring and is a candidate for Academic All-America consideration.

    BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College softball team swept an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader at rival Wilmington College today (April 25, 2009) in Wilmington. The Yellow Jackets won the first game, 7-2, and captured the nightcap with a 6-5 win. In addition, senior All-OAC first baseman Caitlin Myor (Sheffield Village/ Elyria Senior) tied B-W's school record for most runs batted-in in a career with 123.

    BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College softball team was swept by Ohio Athletic Conference and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University today (Friday, April 24, 2009) at Bracken Field in University Heights. John Carroll won the first game, 3-2, and captured the nightcap, 3-1. Despite the losses, senior first baseman Caitlin Myor (Sheffield Village/ Elyria Senior) drove in one run in the second game, and moves to within one run batted-in of tying B-W's all-time career mark.

Muskingum won the first game, 7-2, and BW captured the nightcap, 8-2. Prior to the game, the Yellow Jackets honored senior All-OAC first baseman Caitlin Myor (Sheffield Village/ Elyria Senior).

The Yellow Jackets won the first game, 2-1 with a two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning, and captured the nightcap, 9-0 in five innings due to the eight-run 'mercy' rule. B-W has won eight straight games.

University today (Sunday, March 22, 2009), 8-0 in the first game and a 6-5, eighth inning win in the second game on the second and final day of the Maryville (Tenn.) College Classic. The Yellow Jackets finished action in Maryville with a 3-1 record.The game-one win against Spalding was B-W's second straight shutout and a game-two win ran B-W's winning streak to three games.

Today (Sunday, March 8, 2009), BW lost the opener to Wartburg (Iowa) College, 7-6 in eight innings, and won the nightcap, 12-0 against Bethany Lutheran (Minn.) College.
