Men's Cross Country Places Fourth at Ohio Wesleyan Invitational

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team finished in fourth place at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University at Liberty Park.

BW was 4th of 17 teams with 125 points. Ohio Northern University was the champion with 37 points.

The Yellow Jackets were led in the 8k by:

  • Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference runner Carter Almady (Brunswick) finished 9th in a time of 25:59.5
  • Freshman Dillon Hach (Medina) crossed the finish line at 17th in a time of 26:14.7
  • Freshman Gabe Ghering (Sunbury / Big Walnut) placed 20th in a time of 26:19.1
  • Freshman Andrew Piehler (Medina) finished 41st in a time of 27:02.9
  • Junior Jackson Tucker (Akron / Lake Center Christian School) finished 45th in a time of 27:07.7

BW is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 7 when it travels to Carlisle, Pennsylvania to compete in the Dickinson University Pre-National Invitational at Big Spring High School.
